General Shipping and Delivery Information

St. Catharines Location - Delivery Charge Estimates

St. Catharines Rates starting at $7, Niagara Falls and Welland $13, rates subject to change and final rates will be calculated at checkout based on delivery address

Local Delivery, Store Pickup and Courier Shipping options are presented to the customer during checkout based upon the product(s) selected, weight (dimensional or actual), shipping requirements, transit time and delivery address including Postal Code. These options are presented with estimated costs and additional information when available. All order Delivery, Pickup or Shipping methods will be confirmed upon review of the order once received by our staff.

Shipping and Delivery Policy

The Artful Cookie & Gift Co. Ltd and its franchisees (Collectively Referred To As "The Artful Cookie") provide the following Shipping and Delivery Policy for the benefit of visitors to its site (www.artfulcookie.com).

The Artful Cookie Recommends Shipping Methods taking 4 days or less to help ensure freshness.

The Artful Cookie currently ships throughout Canada and the Contiguous United States only.

The Artful Cookie provides courier shipping and local delivery services (collectively delivery service) for qualifying orders placed online. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide complete address details and select the appropriate delivery service or store pickup method during the checkout process. ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN SUPPLYING THE DELIVERY OR SHIPPING ADDRESS MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGES OR CANCELLATION OF THE ORDER. The Artful Cookie provides delivery services through 3rd party providers including commercial and independent contractors. The Artful Cookie shares information about your order with these providers in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

If The Artful Cookie or its delivery service providers cannot deliver an order after all reasonable attempts, The Artful Cookie is not responsible for any degradation in freshness or quality. At the customers request, The Artful Cookie can reproduce the order with fresh products for an additional charge.

While The Artful Cookie strives to meet all delivery expectations, no guarantees of delivery date or time can be provided. If delivery is refused or cannot be completed after 2 attempts during regular business hours, The Artful Cookie will contact the customer and notify them that: additional delivery charges will be required for subsequent delivery attempts or the order must be picked-up at the location which the order was placed with. If the order cannot be delivered or picked up either the customer or The Artful Cookie can cancel the order in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below.

The Artful Cookie may substitute selected delivery methods where it deems appropriate to do so with no adjustment to the customers account.

Completed delivery is defined by each delivery service provider. This may include having the recipient retrieve the delivery from a distribution center or warehouse if delivery could not be completed after a prescribed number of attempts. A delivery service provider may also leave the delivery with someone other than the intended recipient if reasonably assured that the delivery will be completed by this person. This includes but is not limited to central shipping departments, family members or neighbours. No signature or identity verification is required by The Artful Cookie for delivery but may be collected by delivery service providers.

School, Hospitals and Public Institutions

It is up to the customer to ensure their order can be accepted by the recipient. The following items may not be accepted into a School, Hospital or other Public Institutions: Latex Balloons, Nut Products.
Additionally, we recommend picking up orders for these locations and delivering them yourself to help ensure that the recipient receives their order while its still fresh!


Returns and Refunds Policy

The Artful Cookie & Gift Co. Ltd and its franchisees (Collectively Referred To As "The Artful Cookie") provide the following Returns and Refunds Policy for the benefit of visitors to its site (www.artfulcookie.com).

The Artful Cookie processes returns and refunds on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion. Given the perishable nature of The Artful Cookies products, a full return or refund may be unavailable. In most cases The Artful Cookie provides a replacement of goods not meeting customer expectations or credit towards future purchases.

Any refunds issued may take up to 3 weeks to process.

Cancellation Policy

The Artful Cookie & Gift Co. Ltd. (The Artful Cookie) processes cancellations on a case-by-case basis. This policy depends on the status of the order production. Production is defined as the production of perishable goods and assembly of the goods purchased (perishable and non-perishable) into a unique order.

A Partial Refund is defined as:

  • the full order price
  • less the value of perishable food items included in the order
  • less any delivery charges incurred, including charges for multiple delivery attempts
  • less any administrative or processing fees incurred

If an order has been cancelled by the customer prior to the order being produced, a full refund is available in the form of store credit or refund in the same payment method used during purchase.

If an order has been cancelled by the customer after the order being produced, a partial refund as defined above will be issued in the in the form of store credit.

If The Artful Cookie cancels an order as a result of errors in your delivery address or refusal of the delivery at the destination address, The Artful Cookie will notify the customer, and at its sole discretion, a partial refund as defined above may be issued in the in the form of store credit.

If The Artful Cookie cancels an order for any other reason, The Artful Cookie will notify the customer to make alternate arrangements or to provide a full refund in the form of store credit or refund in the same payment method used during purchase.

Any refunds issued may take up to 3 weeks to process.
